Confidentiality, Privacy, and Intellectual Property Protection
At Lumenis, confidentiality, privacy, and the protection of client interests are at the core of our operational and ethical philosophy. We understand that our clients—ranging from national governments and defence contractors to pharmaceutical companies, research laboratories, healthcare institutions, and private enterprises—entrust us with data, strategies, and objectives of extraordinary value and sensitivity. This trust forms the backbone of every simulation, computation, and service we perform on the Lumenis platform.
Our commitment is clear and unwavering: to protect, preserve, and enforce the confidentiality of every client engagement, to guarantee data privacy across all layers of simulation, and to ensure that our clients retain 100% ownership and control over their intellectual property (IP), simulation results, and associated data at all times.
Data Sovereignty & Ownership
Lumenis enforces strict policies ensuring that all simulation input data, configuration parameters, real-time logs, and output results remain solely the property of the client. At no time will Lumenis claim ownership or co-rights to any content submitted, processed, or generated within our infrastructure. Our decentralized architecture ensures that all simulations are run in isolated quantum-secure environments with no third-party involvement, centralized cloud storage, or external handling of your data.
We do not sell, share, replicate, analyse, or utilize any client data for internal or commercial purposes. All data submitted for simulation is considered confidential by default, and all handling follows a secure and auditable pathway from start to finish.
Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
To further support the diverse legal and operational requirements of our clientele, Lumenis is fully prepared to enter into binding Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) upon request. These agreements may be executed using our standard format or tailored to meet client-specific legal frameworks, including those of government entities, pharmaceutical consortia, or classified defence programs.
These NDAs extend to all personnel involved in your simulation—from system-level interaction and quantum processing to blockchain validation and data retrieval. Breach of confidentiality is not tolerated and would constitute a material violation of our service agreement and operational code of conduct.
Pharmaceutical & Biomedical Confidentiality
Pharmaceutical clients often rely on Lumenis to simulate molecular structures, protein interactions, synthetic compounds, or optimized drug pathways that could form the basis of patents, therapies, and market-competitive strategies. We acknowledge the deeply sensitive and high-value nature of this information and enforce multi-layered confidentiality protections throughout all stages of data handling and simulation.
Every computation initiated through Lumenis for biomedical, clinical, or pharmaceutical purposes is governed by strict IP compartmentalization protocols. This ensures that only the initiating wallet/client node has access to the results, logs, or reconstruction data. No data is shared, indexed, or discoverable through the network unless explicitly configured by the client. Furthermore, all results can be timestamped, digitally signed, and immutably stored to establish IP priority and provide robust legal evidence in patent submissions.
Government & Defence Sector Discretion
Lumenis is engineered with national security and government usage in mind. The platform is capable of hosting and executing advanced defence simulations, classified modelling, stealth material generation, and infrastructure stress-testing—without ever exposing simulation details to outside entities or servers. We operate under zero-knowledge encryption and decentralized simulation execution, meaning even Lumenis administrators cannot access your data.
Our system supports air-gapped environments, quantum-encrypted storage, and blockchain-backed execution logs to satisfy compliance standards required by defence, homeland security, and intelligence agencies. We are also capable of aligning with ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and other jurisdictional mandates regarding sensitive technologies.
Client Control, Not Platform Ownership
At Lumenis, we believe that intellectual property and simulation data should always remain in the hands of the client. Every simulation run executed by Lumenis is 100% owned by the client—including all input parameters, generated data, logs, and output results.
Lumenis acts solely as the processing engine for your simulation. We do not retain any rights to the data we generate on your behalf, nor do we store, reuse, or analyse your results beyond what is necessary to deliver them securely to you. Once a simulation is completed, clients may choose how to store or archive the results—whether locally, on a private system, or via encrypted delivery.
There is no vendor lock-in, no hidden data access, and no platform-side claims on your output. Your simulation is your asset—fully private, fully secure, and fully under your control.
No Data Sharing, No Data Selling
We never share data with third parties. We never sell data. We do not use client inputs for "training AI models" or "enhancing simulation performance" unless explicitly permitted. In fact,
This makes the platform ideal for sensitive early-stage research, classified programs, pre-patent discovery, and strategic defence simulations.
Client Verification, Consent, and Transparency
Before running any simulation, clients are given full visibility into:
The type of data being processed
The algorithms or modules used
The output format
The chain of custody
Any optional blockchain or network interactions
We believe that transparent processes build trust—but never at the expense of your data privacy.
All simulation contracts are accompanied by clear terms regarding:
Data deletion policies
Storage locations
Recovery mechanisms
Revocation rights
Log access and export capabilities
Request an NDA or Custom Security Protocol
If your organization requires a signed NDA or a customized security agreement before engaging with the Lumenis platform, we will gladly accommodate that request. We offer a standard NDA template that can be amended to meet your legal requirements, or we can review and co-sign NDAs provided by your legal team. For ongoing contracts, confidentiality clauses may also be embedded directly into your simulation usage agreement.
To request an NDA, simply contact our team at confidentiality@lumenis.io or use the checkbox provided on our contact form to request secure handling terms. We respond to NDA requests within 24 hours and will not initiate any simulation processing until formal acknowledgment is in place.
In Summary
Lumenis was built not just for speed and accuracy—but for trust, security, and discretion. We are fully committed to protecting the intellectual property, strategies, and innovations of our clients. Whether you're running high-value pharmaceutical models, advanced military simulations, or confidential commercial predictions, your data is yours—and it stays that way.
No access.
No leaks.
No compromise.
